Some blogs on Tumblr and people on Twitter are calling on SU fans to take the time to write to Cartoon Network and tell them that they need to treat Steven Universe (or, heck, EVERYTHING that isn't Teen Titans) better. If you have the time, I urge you to take a minute to join in with the rest of us and do so.

This link will send you to CN's official feedback page on their website, if you're in the US:

www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedbac…

If you're NOT in the US (like me), that link will just send you to your national version of their site. BUT you can write them by regular mail! Here's the adress:

Cartoon Network Studios
300 N 3rd St
Burbank, CA 91502
USA

And if you take the time to write them, just FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BE POLITE.

Any rudeness will just get your message ignored, guaranteed.

Write about what the show means to you, and if you have examples of how important it is to others, especially children, then add that too, and how saddening the long, mind-boggling hiatuses and lack of reruns are.

When I planned the epilogue I toyed with the idea of having a vision scene taking place before Jasper and Garnet even got to Homeworld, where Peridot had fixed the Galaxy Warp and they were leaving. However Peridot would have snitched to Steven who came running to stop them, forcing Jasper to jump down and hide from him with Garnet. Steven screaming looking for them and thinking they had already left, Garnet quietly bawling her eyes out, and Jasper breaking down and not being able to go through with it, even knowing it was just a vision and not real - but the vision wouldn't let her get away with not going so she'd destroy the warp several times until realizing it just kept looping back, and be forced to take Garnet and make it past Steven.

But 1, too much work, epilogue running too long

2, Jasper would be prepared for the visions being asshats and not letting her get away, and then the struggle with trying to fool Yellow Diamond would also have meant less

3, holy tapdancing Mary, I'm not made of evil.

...

ALSO not shown in the comic: The vision loop where Jasper lost it and screamed "Maybe we wouldn't have lost the war if you knew how to lead an army" at YD. Not shown because that death was so traumatizing Jasper's memory couldn't handle it and it didn't stick in the recording.

... Yeah we'll go with that.

I really should write a new journal entry, if nothing else than just because the last one was from December 2015 and I start twitching when I think about how long Team Building has been dominating my free time XD It's been fun but GODDAMN I haven't allowed myself a lot of other past times, just so I could focus on this thing.

Hopefully I'll be done by my vacation in July, but we'll see :)

The Doom List

1 min read
Hey, look at it from the bright side.

Here's a list of things that could make the situation in Team Building worse:

*Lars shows up

*Ronaldo shows up

*Jak and Daxter villain quotes

*Pearl slaps Garnet

*Amethyst punches Garnet

*Steven has a mental breakdown

*Somebody decides to take the whole "sham trial" thing to the conclusion

*Yellow Diamond makes an appearance

*Jasper decides that they're all morons and being in a redemption AU is stupid, so she commences curb-stomp battle since Garnet is now too off balance to fight her

Any single one of those would be awful.

...

Wouldn't it? *thunderclap*
