Team Building (a redemption AU tale), page 1

Heeeey guess who has a new fandom AND has gotten herself Photoshop Elements and a tablet? MEEE!

So now I gotta learn how to properly use that fancy schmancy stuff, and because I prefer to do so in story form, I'll attempt to practice (including refinding my ability to draw) and tell a story at the same time. Also I may or may not do horrible, horrible things to my favorite character.

We're jumping right into Redemption AU lala-land.

Note: I started working on this story in August 2015, before Peridot had even been redeemed. As such, there are canon hiccups that were unavoidable due to stuff just not having happened yet. But as of August 2016, I can say that it specifically breaks with canon at the episode Crack the Whip. In this verse, Jasper's blind charge at the CGs happened at a time when Pearl and Garnet were still present, and because taking two confused dogs along as your only backup is A DUMB PLAN, Amethyst didn't get poofed and Jasper got captured instead, buuut got away with Peridot, but then, as you'll see, things got worse for the cheeto puff.

So basically everything after Crack the Whip didn't happen in this AU.
